Wreath Workshop with Sierra Steifman of The Floral Society

We are so excited to welcome Sierra Steifman, founder of The Floral Society, back to bluecashew for her second workshop.  Our first Arrangment Workshop earlier this spring was an inspiring personal game-changer and we cannot wait to see what kind of magic Sierra will pass along to better our wreath making skills.

We’ll be making beautiful seasonal winter wreaths using mixed evergreens, eucalyptus and thistle; and each participant receives a Floral Society Wreath Workshop Kit ($90 retail) which includes a pair of Japanese teflon-coated carbon steel blade floral clippers, copper wreath form, floral tape, copper wire, tutorials and access to password protected online tutorials that will guide you through future seasonal wreath creations.

$150 per student includes 2hr hands-on workshop + Floral Society Wreath Workshop kit ($90 retail) to work with and take home.

845 514 2300 to reserve your spot.

Wreaths are full of history and symbolism, and this workshop-in-a-box provides everything you need to express your creativity while making your own, again and again. Use these tools to design unique pieces to adorn your home during the autumn and winter holidays, and in the spring and summer to create displays that will help to bring the outside in.  Included in the kit are TFS signature Floral Clippers in white with teflon-coated carbon steel blades and thermoplastic elastomer handles.

Moved by the changing seasons of the natural world and the collaborative spirit of the floral community, The Floral Society makes creative tools and objects to inspire the design enthusiast at home. They believe that everyone with a vision can be both creator and curator — from the budding florist to the skilled host, and all humans in between. Founded by Sierra Steifman of New York boutique floral house Poppies & Posies, their focus is on time-tested essentials infused with a heavy dose of aspiration. They aim to open up a world of flowers, gardening, and casual entertaining to all.
