Vietnamese with Corinne Trang

  • 6:00pm
  • 37b north front street, kingston, ny 12401

Refined, subtle, challenging, and accessible all at the same time, the food of Vietnam was the first true fusion cuisine, blending the techniques and ingredients of French and Chinese culinary traditions.  In this workshop led by Corinne Trang, author of the award-winning book, “Authentic Vietnamese Cooking: Food From a Family Table,” we’ll explore this exciting cuisine through the lens of a James Beard award-winning chef.  Born in France’s Loire Valley to a French mother and Cambodian-born Chinese father, we’re excited for the keen insight we know that only Corinne can bring to this workshop!

On the menu:   Summer Rolls, Cha Ca (turmeric fish), Nem Nuong (grilled pork meatballs) with table salad, Peanut Sauce and Nuoc Cham! Chef Trang is one of our most rigorous instructors so come prepared to work!

$90 per student includes 3hr workshop and recipes PLUS eat-what-you-make! Please feel free to BYOB if you would like to imbibe while we eat.
