Hand-pulled noodles are an artform unto themsleves. One of the most complex recipes to master–this workshop will focus on several techniques for pulling and crafting noodles by hand.
Join our most rigorous instructor, Asian food expert and cookbook author Corinne Trang, for yet another engaging and delicious session…and get ready to knead, pull and throw your way to noodle nirvana. While our dough is resting, we’ll learn to make three different preparations in which we’ll bathe and devour our handmade treats (1) Dan Dan-style with chili sauce, ginger, ground nuts and scallion, (2) chicken broth infused with Chinese red dates and shiitakes and (3) fermented black bean & garlic sauce.
Come prepared to work hard….and then eat hard…’cuz the the noodle challenge is on!

ABOUT THE CHEF
Corinne Trang is the award-winning author of several books including the most recently published “Switch It Up: A Fresh Take on Quick and Easy Diabetes-Friendly Recipes for a Balanced Life” (2017), “Asian Flavors Diabetes Cookbook” (ADA, 2012), “Noodles Every Day” (2009), “Curry Cuisine” (2007), “The Asian Grill” (2006), “A Food Lover’s Companion: Vietnamese” (2006),” “Essentials of Asian Cuisine” (2003), and “Authentic Vietnamese Cooking” (1999), and has contributed to many more including “The Encyclopedia of Food & Culture” (Scribners & Sons, 2006).
