Sourdough baking may seem complicated, with so many variables that can affect the outcome. In this workshop we’ll learn one master dough recipe and use it to make bread, rolls, pita, pizza, and even bagels–so we see how the ways in which we shape, proof, and bake the dough can change the outcome, while simultaneously increasing your repertoire of homemade baked goods using only one recipe.
Each student will receive some sourdough starter to take home (along with instructions for its care and feeding) and there will be lots of goodies for sampling at the end of class.
