Summer’s almost over, which means its time to hop in the Escalade and head south on the Garden State Parkway to where the beaches are hot, the blue claws are abundant and the shakes are hella boozy. Yes, friends…pack your sunnies ‘cuz we’re going to the Jersey Shore!
Chef Brooke Vosika has been a longtime Cape May resident and he knows (as well as I) the many culinary joys that Jersey holds within its summertime grip. The tomatoes, the corn, the cukes, the crab–we’re taking the local best from land & sea and learning to make an epic feast fit for the likes of Snooki.
On the menu: Gazpacho Shooters, Clams Casino, Stuffed Shrimp with Blue Crab, Grilled Asparagus with Summer Corn Relish and Strawberry Amaretto Shakes for dessert.

ABOUT THE CHEF
Chef Brooke Vosika, former executive Chef of The Four Seasons, is one of the most tenured Executive Chefs, having spent over 32 years with the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Chef Vosika’s career has brought him around the world and delivered awards from the prestigious Bocuse D’Or, The James Beard Foundation, The Improper Bostonian Magazine and Boston Magazine. Currently he is a consulting chef in the Berkshires, Hudson Valley and an avid wine collector and maker. He enjoys developing new culinary concepts with fresh ideas.
