Cooking with Kimchi | Corinne Trang
- 37b north front street, kingston, ny 12401
Now that we’ve tackled making our own homemade kimchi, it’s time to learn some amazing things that can be done with it! This powerful superfood is loaded with vitamins, minerals and all kinds of excellent flavor that will add an undeniable boost to your dinner menu, as well as to your immune system.
On the menu (and I drool as I type) Kimchi Pajeon–dispelling all notions that pancakes are not good for dinner–we’ll each make our own savoury pancake, before each taking a shot at stir-frying our own Kimchi Fried Rice with pork and baby shrimp. For the main event, Kimchi Soondubu, a deliciously nourishing tofu and kimchi stew with mushrooms.
$85 per student includes 3hr hands-on workshop and recipes PLUS eat-home-what-you-make. Feel free to BYOB if you’d like to imbibe once we’ve put the knives away—-Ester Wine & Spirits offers a 15% discount on bottles of wine on the ‘night of’ when you show your receipt.
